John Engel was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wesco International in May 2011, and has been President and Chief Executive Officer since September 2009. Prior to these appointments, Mr. Engel served as Wesco’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2004 to September 2009. Before joining Wesco, Mr. Engel served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Gateway, Inc.; Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of PerkinElmer, Inc.; and Vice President and General Manager of AlliedSignal. He also held various engineering, manufacturing, and general management positions at General Electric Company.

Mr. Engel serves as a Director of United States Steel Corporation. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable and the Business Council, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of both the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the Allegheny Conference. He is the former Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI).

Mr. Engel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester.

Dave Schulz is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wesco and has responsibility for all aspects of the company’s finance functions including strategic planning, investor relations, internal and external financial reporting, taxation, and treasury.

Mr. Schulz brings 20 years of public company experience in finance and operations management to Wesco. After 15 years in financial leadership roles with Procter & Gamble and the J. M. Smucker Company, he joined Armstrong World Industries in 2011 as Vice President - Finance of the Armstrong Building Products division. He was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Most recently, Mr. Schulz was the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Armstrong Flooring, Inc., overseeing Asia Pacific sales and operations, investor relations, and strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Schulz began his career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Villanova University and a Master's in Management from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.

Akash Khurana is Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer for Wesco. He joined the company in 2020, and has more than 20 years of technology experience, driving innovation across industries resulting in organizational transformation and establishing new multi-billion revenue generating business lines. Mr. Khurana leads the information technology and digital organizations, spearheading a multi-year transformation journey.

Prior to joining Wesco, Mr. Khurana led business transformation at McDermott as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Digital Officer of the global information technology and digital organizations. His assignment before joining McDermott was as the Senior Director of Global Product Lines and Regional P&Ls at Baker Hughes. He has also served in a variety of progressive leadership roles at GE Healthcare and Power & Water divisions. He began his career as an Enterprise Resource Planning Business Consultant and a technology leader at a leading retail company in the late 1990s.

Mr. Khurana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Pune, India, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He is a qualified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Master Lean Leader.

Jim Cameron has served as Wesco’s Executive Vice President and General Manager, Utility & Broadband Solutions (UBS) since 2020, following Wesco’s acquisition of Anixter International. Mr. Cameron joined Wesco in 2011 and has led the Utility group since 2014, gaining additional responsibility for Broadband in 2016.

Mr. Cameron has over 25 years of experience in the electric Utility industry in both manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining Wesco, Mr. Cameron held various senior positions with Irby, a Sonepar Company, including Senior Vice President of the Utility Group, as well as Vice President of Marketing & Operations. Earlier in his career, he held various positions with Hubbell Power Systems, Thomas & Betts and the ABB Power T&D Company.

Mr. Cameron has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Bill Geary has served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Communications and Security Solutions since June 2020, following the Wesco’s acquisition of Anixter International. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the Network & Security Solutions segment for Anixter. Mr. Geary joined Anixter in January 2017 as Senior Vice President of Global Markets with oversight of the EMEA, APAC and CALA regions for the Network & Security Solutions segment.

Prior to Anixter, Mr. Geary served as President of the U.S.-based communications distributor, Accu-Tech. A 22-year veteran of Accu-Tech, Mr. Geary held a variety of other senior management roles at the company, including Vice President of Sales and Regional Vice President.

Mr. Geary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Georgia Southern University.

Nelson Squires has served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Electrical & Electronic Solutions since June of 2020. Prior to this appointment, he held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from October of 2019 to May of 2020, Group Vice President and General Manager for Canada and International from January of 2018 to September of 2019, and Group Vice President and General Manager of Wesco’s Canadian operations from August of 2015 to January of 2018.

Before joining Wesco, Mr. Squires was Vice President and General Manager of North American Gases and President of Air Products Canada Limited for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Mr. Squires joined Air Products in 1989 as a Sales Engineer and earned numerous assignments of increasing responsibility in region and general management positions, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.

Mr. Squires served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University.
